Posting this music video because it was in my playlist but never really knew what the song was all about until recently. Love the melody, although it is way too melodramatic for my taste right now.

I’ve never heard of the artiste before this, but not bad of a song eh?

While I was in Sungai Sedim, Kulim, a wedding of a friend was held there as well. The bride was a fellow actress, and I’ve worked with her before. She had always love doing something out of the ordinary. Very bubbly and sure do love the attention. She had a reception back home a couple of days earlier, and was in Kedah for a different kind of celebration.

The bride and groom, had to do flying fox to get to the pelamin, which was set up nearby. It had leaves and everything. Obviously it was a green/jungle theme wedding. It was fun to be there. To see both of them in green. Even the pengapit had kipas made out of leaves.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is a 2008 adventure film directed by Steven Spielberg, executive produced by George Lucas and starring Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones. Set in 1957, this fourth film in the Indiana Jones film series has an older and wiser version of Indy battling agents of the Soviet Union—led by Spalko (Cate Blanchett)—for the crystal skull. Indy is assisted by his former lover Marion Ravenwood (Karen Allen) as well as the greaser Mutt (Shia LaBeouf) and fellow archaeologist Mac (Ray Winstone). John Hurt and Jim Broadbent also play fellow academics.

The film was in development hell since the 1989 release of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, because Spielberg and Ford initially disagreed over Lucas’s choice of the skulls as the plot device. Screenwriters Jeb Stuart, Jeffrey Boam, M. Night Shyamalan, Frank Darabont and Jeff Nathanson wrote drafts, before a script by David Koepp satisfied all three men in 2006. Shooting finally commenced on June 18, 2007, and took place at locations in New Mexico, New Haven, Connecticut, Hawaii, Fresno, California, and soundstages in Los Angeles. In order to keep aesthetic continuity with the previous films, there will be minimal use of computer-generated imagery and more of a reliance on traditional stuntwork, and cinematographer Janusz Kaminski has adapted his style to that of Douglas Slocombe from the previous films.

Marketing will rely heavily on the public’s nostalgia for the series, with products taking inspiration from all four films. Anticipation for the film resulted in a legal dispute over an extra violating his non-disclosure agreement, and another man was arrested for stealing a computer containing various documents related to the project. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is scheduled for a worldwide release on May 22, 2008

I came across this rather cute advert. I would think that it was to promote Safe Sex or something like it. But its actually for, well, watch it yourself.

The thing is, I liked the idea. Its like a short love story. A love at first sight. And it leaves a lot to the imagination. You can make up stories on what actually happened. From the first time they laid eyes on each other, to the next morning.

I, in particular, love the fact that they were holding hands when walking into the store.

And I kept wondering if they keep in touch after that. Hahaha..

Oh well, I’m one hopelessly in love.

I’ll be joining some friends to accompany them to go and watch the movie tomorrow night.

I’m sure there would be a lot of scenes censored.

I guess I’m at an age in which everything could go wrong, and sometimes it seems, everything is just like how it should be. Everything happens for a reason, orang kata. We need to make decisions and sometimes we just don’t really want to make any. We go through everyday wishing somehow, someone else would make the decisions for us, so that if something goes wrong, we could say, “Bukan salah aku”. We are just so afraid of admitting to our faults. Seboleh-bolehnya kita nak lari dari semua bende.

We feel like we want to run away from everything, and that sometimes, we think, why all the bad things have to happen to us. When really, that is what life is all about.

I really do hope people are more soft-spoken with each other, and smile more when they see each other. But at the same time I don’t want others to take even the slightest advantage of other people’s well-manners. I want people to not feel superior, or feel left out of the crowd, tapi most of the time kita tak tahu bila nak balance out those two things. I want everyone to get what they really deserve, but I don’t want us to play the role of God and decides who should or shouldn’t be punished and take it into our own hands.

Too many bad things in this world right now, at this very moment, and even me, I’m not even near to being half perfect, so who am I to even say apa-apa. Kata orang, kita sesama manusia mesti saling ingat-mengingati, but we never do it the right way. There are things in my life I wish I’d be able to change, but like I’ve read somewhere, samada, can’t, or won’t. Itu saja.

Please, just be nice to others. Senyum selalu, sebab selain dari dianggap sedekah, its just a nice thing to do. Do it because we wan’t to.

Honestly, right now I know I’m not making any sense. Menaip apa yang terlintas kat kepala.

All I really want to do, right now, is to..

Alright now, I have no problem admitting to watching Akademi Fantasia, now in its 6th season. My nephews would watch it, and its just a nice thing to be doing with the family. I thank god my family could still appreciate some of our local ‘flava’.

Of course I have my favourites, and it varies in terms of why I am rooting for them.

With that being said, my first pick is Saida, simply because she’s Saida. There is something about her personality that catches my eyes. I think, although she is not yet at a good stage vocally, but I think that is even better. She has got her fans rooting for her, and also her sister’s fan rooting for her as well. So that’s a good start. She starts weak, then she’ll have some room for improvement, and hopefully people would be able to identify that. That is, if she improves on her vocals and self confidence-lah. I think she improved a bit from last week, and I don’t really know whats up with the nervous breakdown, since she danced alright, and I kinda like her weird rendition of ‘Doktor Cinta‘. Can she win? I won’t bet my money on it though. The finals, yeah, probably.

My second pick is Nubhan. One, because his name is Nubhan. I mean, I’ve never heard such name (katak bawah tempurung ni), and it is such a nice name. But he is so kid like, dengan misai maharaja Ching-nya. But I picked him because of his voice. He has got a nice tone to it, but I think people would grow tired of that husky-slightly-Indonesian tone. He’s lucky to have had 2 songs up until now that didn’t really challenged him. It was definitely his cup of tea. I could imagine him jumping up and down, sambil menggentel misai yang baru nak tumbuh, when he got that assignment. I would want him to win, but I have to listen to him sing other songs first. You never know..

I don’t vote, you see. Simply because, its supposed to be a talent competition, but everyone knows its a popularity contest instead. So I would only vote for Saida and Nubhan, because I would of course want to see both of them in the finals. But both of them singing, for now, well, not impressive, and I’d be doing it just because, right now, personality-wise, they are popular in my head. So we’ll see.
